Motor Carrier/Household Goods Mover Complaint Entry System

The Complaint Entry System (CES) is designed to assist you in filing complaints involving commercial motor carriers, checking the status of a complaint, and/or viewing the complaint history of specific motor carriers. This includes complaints involving buses and household goods movers.

Please note: If you are disputing the charges or claiming loss/damages to your household goods, you should first file a written claim with your mover. TxDMV does not settle claims. However, if necessary you have the right to file for mediation through TxDMV. Important Information Regarding a Motor Carrier's Complaint History

CES only contains information on complaints filed after September 1, 2008. For a complete history of a motor carrier's complaints please submit an open records request or call our toll-free Consumer Helpline weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 1-888-368-4689.

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles maintains the information collected on this system. With few exceptions, you are entitled upon request to be informed about the information we collect about you.
